Kit includes 100 µg of lyophilized recombinant Human CK-MB protein and 1 bottle of diluting buffer (1 mL).
Storage: Diluent should be stored at 4°C. Lyophilized protein should be stored at 4°C short-term, and long-term at -20°C. Reconstitution: reconstitute 100 µg of Recombinant Human CK-MB, Calibrator Grade with 1 mL of CK-MB Diluent. Mix gently, and allow to stand for at least 15 minutes prior to use. After using, replace stopper and store at 2-8°C to achieve at least 3 weeks of reconstituted stability.
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytoplasmic enzyme involved in energy homeostasis. The encoded protein reversibly catalyzes the transfer of phosphate between ATP and various phosphogens such as creatine phosphate. It acts as a homodimer in brain as well as in other tissues, and as a heterodimer with a similar muscle isozyme in heart. The encoded protein is a member of the ATP:guanido phosphotransferase protein family. A pseudogene of this gene has been characterized.
