AKR1D1 Antibody (PA5-143935) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of AKR1D1 in U2OS cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum. Samples were then incubated in AKR1D1 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-143935) using a dilution of 4 μg/mL. Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: rat liver tissue, mouse liver tissue, human caco-2 whole cell. IHC: human liver cancer tissue. ICC/IF: U2OS cell. Flow: CACO-2 cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Target Information
The enzyme encoded by this gene is responsible for the catalysis of the 5-beta-reduction of bile acid intermediates and steroid hormones carrying a delta(4)-3-one structure. Deficiency of this enzyme may contribute to hepatic dysfunction.
