ALDH9A1 Antibody (PA5-15006) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of ALDH9A1 in formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma tissue. Samples were incubated with ALDH9A1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-15006) which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Target Information
ALDH9A1 belongs to the aldehyde dehydrogenase family of proteins. The protein has a high activity for oxidation of gamma-aminobutyraldehyde and other amino aldehydes. The enzyme catalyzes the dehydrogenation of gamma-aminobutyraldehyde to gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). This isozyme is a tetramer of identical 54-kD subunits.
