ANGPTL3 Antibody (PA5-47127) in IHC (F)
Immunohistochemical analysis of ANGPTL3 in perfusion fixed frozen sections of mouse liver. Samples were incubated in ANGPTL3 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47127) using a dilution of 5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C. Tissue was stained using the Anti-Goat HRP-DAB Cell & Tissue Staining Kit (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific labeling was localized to the cytoplasm of hepatocytes.

In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Angiopoietin-1, rhAngiopoietin-2, recombinant mouse Angiopoietin-3, rhAngiopoietin-4, and rhAngiopoietin-like factor/CDT6 is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of a family of secreted proteins that function in angiogenesis. The encoded protein, which is expressed predominantly in the liver, is further processed into an N-terminal coiled-coil domain-containing chain and a C-terminal fibrinogen chain. The N-terminal chain is important for lipid metabolism, while the C-terminal chain may be involved in angiogenesis. Mutations in this gene cause familial hypobetalipoproteinemia type 2.
