          ASPH Antibody (PA5-78827) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence analysis of ASPH in A549 cell using ASPH Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-78827). Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum and incubated with the primary antibody at 1 µg/mL. Biotinylated goat anti-rabbit IgG was used as secondary antibody and incubated for 30 minutes at 37°C. The section was developed using Strepavidin-Biotin-Complex (SABC) with DAB as the chromogen. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

          Target Information

ASPH is thought to play an important role in calcium homeostasis. Alternative splicing of this gene results in five transcript variants which vary in protein translation, the coding of catalytic domains, and tissue expression. Variation among these transcripts impacts their functions which involve roles in the calcium storage and release process in the endoplasmic and sarcoplasmic reticulum as well as hydroxylation of aspartic acid and asparagine in epidermal growth factor-like domains of various proteins.
