Western blot analysis of BBS7 in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with BBS7 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-116767) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 30s.

Target Information
BBS7, also named as BBS2L1, is a component of the BBSome complex which is required for ciliogenesis but is dispensable for centriolar satellite function. BBS7 is mediated in part by the Rab8 GDP/GTP exchange factor, which localizes to the basal body and contacts the BBSome.
