Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded CENPM in mouse brain tissue. Antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer. Samples were blocked with blocking buffer (1.5 hr, 22°C), incubated with CENPM polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-100720) using a dilution of 1:100 (1.5 hr, 22°C), followed by HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit.

Target Information
The centromere is a specialized chromatin domain, present throughout the cell cycle, that acts as a platform on which the transient assembly of the kinetochore occurs during mitosis. All active centromeres are characterized by the presence of long arrays of nucleosomes in which CENPA replaces histone H3.
