          CLOCK Antibody (PA3-16514) in WB

Western blot was performed using Anti-CLOCK Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA3-16514) and a 95kDa band corresponding to CLOCK was observed across the cell lines and tissue extracts tested. Modified whole cell extracts (1% SDS) (30 µg lysate) of HeLa (Lane 1), A-431 (Lane 2), MCF-7 (Lane 3), MCF-7 treated with Beta Estradiol (1uM for 24hrs) (Lane 4), T-47D (Lane 5), PC-3 (Lane 6), NIH/3T3 (Lane 7), tissue extracts of Mouse Testis (Lane 8), Mouse Skeletal muscle (Lane 9), Rat Skeletal muscle (Lane 10) and Mouse Thymus (Lane 11) were electrop... Product Specific Information

This antibody has been tested against bacterially expressed fragment of CLOCK expressed in BL21 cells or the full length protein expressed in an in vitro translation system (reticulocyte lysate).

          Target Information

This gene encodes a protein that belongs to the basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) family of transcription factors. Polymorphisms within the encoded protein have been associated with circadian rhythm sleep disorders. A similar protein in mice is a circadian regulator that acts as a transcription factor and forms a heterodimer with aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator-like to activate transcription of mouse period 1.
