Antibody detects endogenous levels of total KC1AL.
CSNK1A1L serine/threonine kinase or CK1-alpha dynamically associates with the CBM complex upon T cell receptor engagement to participate in cytokine production and lymphocyte proliferation which has a contrasting role by subsequently promoting the phosphorylation and inactivation of CARMA1. It governs antigen-receptor-induced NF-kappa-B activation and human lymphoma cell survival. These kinases are operationally defined by their preferential utilization of acidic proteins such as caseins as substrates. It can phosphorylate a large number of proteins including CTNNB1, PER1, and PER2. CSNK1A1 also participates in Wnt signaling. It may play a role in segregating chromosomes during mitosis, as well as, cytoskeleton diassembly which may regulate epithelial cell migration.
