Antibody tested in indirect ELISA
Carbendazim is a systemic fungicide that belongs to the benzimidazole group. It is used in agriculture to control a broad range of plant diseases caused by fungi, including Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, and Sclerotinia species. Carbendazim works by inhibiting the mitotic spindle formation, which prevents the fungal cells from dividing and reproducing. The target of Carbendazim is the microtubule cytoskeleton, which is essential for the normal growth and division of fungal cells. Carbendazim is widely used in fruit and vegetable crops, cereals, and ornamentals, as well as in post-harvest applications to prevent storage diseases.
