Western blot analysis of Carboxypeptidase A3 in extracts of mouse pancreas. Samples were incubated with Carboxypeptidase A3 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-109578) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 180s.

Target Information
Three different forms of human pancreatic procarboxypeptidase A have been isolated. This gene encodes a form which is obtained as a binary complex of a procarboxypeptidase A with proproteinase E and functions as a secretory granule metalloexopeptidase.
