The peptide shares 90% identity with Complexin-4.
Specificity of this antibody: Complexin-3 and 4.
The function of this target is Complexin-3 & 4: Positively regulates a late step in synaptic vesicle exocytosis. Tissue Specificity: Complexin-3: Present in many brain regions, including hippocampus and cerebellum. In the retina, present both at conventional amacrine cell synapses and at photoreceptor ribbon synapses (at protein level). Complexin-4: Present specifically in the retina, at rod photoreceptor ribbon synapses. Not expressed at conventional amacrine cell synapses, nor at cone photoreceptor ribbon synapses (at protein level). Subcellular Location: Complexin-3 & 4: Membrane; Lipid-anchor.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
