DOCK7 Antibody (A303-358A) in IP
Detection of human DOCK7 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-DOCK7 antibody (Product # A303-358A) used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. DOCK7 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-DOCK7 antibody A303-357A, which recognizes an upstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated DOCK7, A303-357A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) that plays a role in axon formation and neuronal polarization. The encoded protein displays GEF activity toward RAC1 and RAC3 Rho small GTPases but not toward CDC42. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
