Daratumumab (Darzalex) is a human IgG1k monoclonal antibody that is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of multiple myeloma. It binds with high affinity to CD38, which is highly expressed on the surface of multiple myeloma cells. Daratumumab can make immune system to attack cancer cells, resulting in rapid tumor cell death through immunomodulatory effects.GenScript MonoRab™ Anti-Daratumumab Antibody (139B10), mAb, Rabbit is produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of partner and B-lymphocytes obtained from a rabbit immunized with Daratumumab.

Daratumumab binds to CD38 on multiple myeloma cells and induces cells to apoptose via antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity or complement-dependent cytotoxicity.
