          EPHA3 Antibody (TA890116) in WB

HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY EPHA3 (RC209191, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-EPHA3. Positive lysates LY417428 (100 µg) and LC417428 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene. {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

          Target Information

EPHA3 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein tyrosine kinase family. EPH and EPH-related receptors have been implicated in mediated developmental events, particularly in the nervous system. EPHA3 encodes a protein that binds ephrin-A ligands and receptors in the EPH subfamily typically have a single kinase domain and an extracellular region containing a Cys-rich domain and 2 fibronectin type III repeats. The ephrin receptors are divided into 2 groups based on the similarity of their extracellular domain sequences and their affinities for binding ephrin-A and ephrin-B ligands. EPHA3 binds ephrin-A ligands.
