EPHA3 Antibody (TA890116) in WB
HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY EPHA3 (RC209191, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-EPHA3. Positive lysates LY417428 (100 µg) and LC417428 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

Target Information
EPHA3 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein tyrosine kinase family. EPH and EPH-related receptors have been implicated in mediated developmental events, particularly in the nervous system. EPHA3 encodes a protein that binds ephrin-A ligands and receptors in the EPH subfamily typically have a single kinase domain and an extracellular region containing a Cys-rich domain and 2 fibronectin type III repeats. The ephrin receptors are divided into 2 groups based on the similarity of their extracellular domain sequences and their affinities for binding ephrin-A and ephrin-B ligands. EPHA3 binds ephrin-A ligands.
