ETFB Antibody (A305-483A) in IP
Detection of human ETFB by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-ETFB antibody (Product # A305-483A) (lot 1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. ETFB was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-ETFB antibody A305-484A. For blotting immunoprecipitated ETFB, A305-483A was used at 0.4 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Target Information
This gene encodes electron-transfer-flavoprotein, beta polypeptide, which shuttles electrons between primary flavoprotein dehydrogenases involved in mitochondrial fatty acid and amino acid catabolism and the membrane-bound electron transfer flavoprotein ubiquinone oxidoreductase. The gene deficiencies have been implicated in type II glutaricaciduria. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.
