Western blot analysis of FGD5 in mouse brain. Samples were incubated with FGD5 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-90298) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 60s.

Target Information
FGD5 activates CDC42, a member of the Ras-like family of Rho- and Rac proteins, by exchanging bound GDP for free GTP. It mediates VEGF-induced CDC42 activation. It may regulate proangiogenic action of VEGF in vascular endothelial cells, including network formation, directional movement and proliferation and may play a role in regulating the actin cytoskeleton and cell shape.
