GLO1/Glyoxalase I Antibody (A305-291A) in WB
Detection of human GLO1/Glyoxalase I by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from HeLa, HEK293T, and Jurkat cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-GLO1/Glyoxalase I antibody (Product # A305-291A) (lot A305-291A-1) used for WB at 0.1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 1 second.

Target Information
The enzyme encoded by this gene is responsible for the catalysis and formation of S-lactoyl-glutathione from methylglyoxal condensation and reduced glutathione. Glyoxalase I is linked to HLA and is localized to 6p21.3-p21.1, between HLA and the centromere.
