Immunohistochemistry analysis of GPR87 was performed on human kidney tissue. To expose target proteins, antigen retrieval was performed by microwaving tissues for 20 minutes in 10mM sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). IHC(P) analysis shows positive staining of GPR87 in human kidney tubules.
WB analysis shows GPR87 in glyco-protein enriched fractions from GPR84 or GPR87 overexpressed 293 cells. The GPR87 antiserum showed specific detection of GPR87 over other tested GPRs.
GPR87 exists in different glycosylated forms.
Target Information
G protein-coupled receptors play a role in cell communication. They are characterized by an extracellular N terminus, 7 transmembrane regions, and an intracellular C terminus. GPR87 has been reported to be expressed in human prostate and rat stomach and fetal tissues. ESTs have been isolated from B-cell/lung/testis, breast, heart, jaw, prostate, and testis libraries.
