Western blot analysis of GPX7 using GPX7 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-18546) (0.3 µg/mL) in staining of Human Prostate lysate (35 µg protein in RIPA buffer) with (B) and without (A) blocking with the immunising peptide. Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence.

Target Information
Human GPX 7 is believed to be a member of the glutathione peroxidase family of proteins. These proteins play important roles in cellular defense mechanisms against oxidative damage. This is accomplished by catalyzing the reduction of hydroperoxides and hydrogen peroxide through the reducing substrate, glutathione.
