          HMGA2 Antibody (PA5-25276) in WB

Western blot was performed using Anti-HMGA2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-25276) and a 18 kDa band corresponding to High mobility group protein HMGI-C was observed. Nuclear enriched extracts (30 µg lysate) of HCT 116 (Lane 1), SW480 (Lane 2), HT-29 (Lane 3), Hep G2 (Lane 4), ACHN (Lane 5), Caki-1 (Lane 6), A549 (Lane 7), A549 treated with 10 ng/mL TGF-B1 for 48 hrs (Lane 8) and NIH/3T3 (Lane 9) were electrophoresed using NuPAGE™ 12% Bis-Tris Protein Gel (Product # NP0342BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a Nitrocellulo... View More {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. View more

          Product Specific Information

This antibody is predicted to react with mouse based on sequence homology.

          Target Information

HMGA2, previously known as HMGI-C, belongs to the group of high mobility chromosomal proteins that have the AT-hook DNA-binding motif. It is highly and ubiquitously expressed during embryogenesis. Chromosomal rearrangements of the HMGA2 gene and overexpression are frequently associated with benign and malignant tumors, respectively. Human and mouse HMGA2 shares 95% amino acid sequence identity.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
