Western blot was performed using Anti-ITGB6 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-47309) and bands between 86-110 kDa corresponding to ITGB6 were observed across the cell lines and tissue tested. HT-29, MCF 10A, A-431 were high expressing cell lines when compared to A549 and HEK-293; Mouse Kidney, Mouse Lung were high expressing tissues when compared to Mouse Liver and Mouse Ovary. Target Information
ITGB6 (Integrin alpha-V/beta-6) is a receptor for fibronectin and cytotactin. It recognizes the sequence R-G-D in its ligands. Internalization of integrin alpha-V/beta-6 via clathrin-mediated endocytosis promotes carcinoma cell invasion.
