Antibody tested in indirect ELISA
Isoprothiolane is a chemical compound that is commonly used as a fungicide in agriculture. It belongs to the thiazole group of fungicides and is effective against a wide range of fungal pathogens. Isoprothiolane works by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes. This leads to the disruption of fungal growth and ultimately, the death of the fungal cells. Isoprothiolane is primarily used to control fungal diseases in rice crops, but it can also be used on other crops such as soybeans, peanuts, and vegetables.
