Immunocytochemistry analysis of MTTP in HEPG2 cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum. Samples were then incubated in MTTP Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-143861) using a dilution of 5 μg/mL. Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: human HEPG2 whole cell, monkey liver tissue, rat liver tissue, rat small intestine tissue. IHC: human liver cancer tissue, rat liver tissue. ICC/IF: HEPG2 cell. Flow: HEPG2 cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Target Information
MTTP encodes the large subunit of the heterodimeric microsomal triglyceride transfer protein. Protein disulfide isomerase (PDI) completes the heterodimeric microsomal triglyceride transfer protein, which has been shown to play a entral role in lipoprotein assembly. Mutations in MTP can cause abetalipoproteinemia.
