Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence analysis of Maspin in A431 cells using Maspin Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-79979). Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum and incubated with the primary antibody at 5 µg/mL. Target Information
SERPINB5 is a tumor suppressor. It blocks the growth, invasion, and metastatic properties of mammary tumors. As it does not undergo the S (stressed) to R (relaxed) conformational transition characteristic of active serpins, it exhibits no serine protease inhibitory activity.
