Mdc1/Nfbd1 Antibody (A304-843A) in IP
Detection of mouse Mdc1/Nfbd1 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from TCMK-1 cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-Mdc1/Nfbd1 antibody (Product # A304-843A) (lot 1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. Mdc1/Nfbd1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-Mdc1/Nfbd1 antibody BL18630. For blotting immunoprecipitated Mdc1/Nfbd1, A304-843A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Target Information
MDC1 participates in the early response to DNA damage. It is thought to be a member of the BRCT (BRCA1 C-terminus) super family of nuclear proteins. It contains an N-terminus forkhead-associated (FHA) motif, two C-terminus BRCT motifs and 13 internal repetitions of a 41 amino acid sequence.
