NEIL1 Polyclonal Antibody detects NEIL1 protein by western blot analysis. Non-transfected (-) and NEIL1-transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts (30 µg) were separated by 10% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with NEIL1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-78580) diluted at 1:500.

Target Information
NEIL1 belongs to a class of DNA glycosylases homologous to the bacterial Fpg/Nei family. These glycosylases initiate the first step in base excision repair by cleaving bases damaged by reactive oxygen species and introducing a DNA strand break via the associated lyase reaction.
