Western Blot analysis of NFKBID using a NFKBID Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-98714) at a concentration of 3.4 µg/mL. Positive WB detected in: Hela whole cell lysate, MCF-7 whole cell lysate. A secondary Goat polyclonal antibody to rabbit IgG was applied at a 1:50,000 dilution. Observed band size: 34 kDa.

Target Information
May regulate the expression of IL-2, IL-6, and other cytokines through regulation on NF-kappa-B activity. Functions in the regulation of inflammatory responses. May also regulate TCR-induced negative selection of thymocytes.I-kappa-BNS, the nuclear I-kappa-B-like protein encoded by Nfkbid, is required for the development of marginal zone and peritoneal B-1 B cells and additionally required for extrafollicular antibody responses to T-independent and -dependent immunogens.I-kappa-BNS has been identified as a member of the I-kappa-B family of NF-kappa-B inhibitors, which undergoes induction upon TCR signaling. I-kappa-BNS mediates both positive and negative gene regulation, depending on individual cell type and/or cytokine.
