PA1-4264 detects CLAN protein from human samples. This antibody detects both A and B isoforms.
PA1-4264 has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. By Western blot this antibody detects a ~116 kDa protein representing CLAN-A and a ~43 kDa protein representing CLAN-B in lung lysate.

Family members play essential roles in innate immune response to a wide range of pathogenic organisms, tissue damage and other cellular stresses. Mutations in this gene result in autoinflammation with infantile enterocolitis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
