Western Blot analysis of NUP54 using the NUP54 Monoclonal Antibody (Product # MA5-37776) at a 1:4000 dilution. Lane 1: K562 whole cell lysate, Lane 2: WiDr whole cell lysate, Lane 3: MDA-MB-231 whole cell lysate. Lysates/proteins were loaded at 20 µg per lane. Secondary Goat Anti-mouse IgG, (H+L), Peroxidase conjugated at 1:10,000 dilution. Predicted band size : 55 kDa. Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.

Target Information
The nuclear envelope creates distinct nuclear and cytoplasmic compartments in eukaryotic cells. It consists of two concentric membranes perforated by nuclear pores, large protein complexes that form aqueous channels to regulate the flow of macromolecules between the nucleus and the cytoplasm. These complexes are composed of at least 100 different polypeptide subunits, many of which belong to the nucleoporin family. This gene encodes a member of the phe-gly repeat-containing nucleoporin subset.
