PEX16 Antibody (PA5-26158) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of PEX16 in formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human lung carcinoma. Samples were incubated with PEX16 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-26158) which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Target Information
PEX16 is required for peroxisome membrane biogenesis. It may play a role in early stages of peroxisome assembly and can recruit other peroxisomal proteins, such as PEX3 and PMP34, to de novo peroxisomes derived from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). It may function as receptor for PEX3.
