PXK Antibody (A305-626A-T) in IP
Detection of human PXK by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-PXK antibody A305-626A-M (lot A305-626A-M-1) used for IP at 8 µl per reaction. PXK was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-PXK antibody BL22440. For blotting immunoprecipitated PXK, A305-626A-M was used at 1:400. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Target Information
PXK is widely expressed in all tissues examined except in heart. It binds to and modulates brain Na,K-ATPase subunits ATP1B1 and ATP1B3 and may thereby participate in the regulation of electrical excitability and synaptic transmission. However, the protein kinase domain is predicted to be catalytically inactive.
