          Phospho-TOP2A (Ser1337) Antibody (PA5-118788) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry analysis of Phospho-TOP2A (Ser1337) in A549 cells (UV treatment). The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with Phospho-TOP2A (Ser1337) polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-118788) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. Product Specific Information

Antibody detects endogenous levels of TOP2A only when phosphorylated at Ser1337.

          Target Information

Topo II alpha plays important roles in synthesis and transcription of DNA as well as chromosomal segregation during mitosis. It is reported to be a sensitive and specific marker of late S-, G2 and M-phases in transformed and developmentally regulated normal cellsTopo II alpha is also implicated in drug resistance of tumor cells.
