Invitrogen
FIGURE: 1 / 3
This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Pig, Cat and Sheep.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire.
Rad1 is a component of a heterotrimeric PCNA-like complex that contains Rad9 and Hus1 proteins. This complex is involved in the 9-1-1 cell cycle checkpoing response complex that plays a major role in DNA repair, by associating with Rad17 and several components of the PCNA-loading heteropentamer replication factor C. Mutants has been shown to partially restore radiation resistance and G2-checkpoint activity. It has also been shown to possess exonuclease activity.
