Western blot analysis of RAD51D in extracts of Jurkat cells. Samples were incubated with RAD51D Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-96713) using a dilution of 1:500, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 30s.

Target Information
Five human RAD 51 homologues have been identified: XRCC2, XRCC3, RAD51B, RAD51C, and RAD51D. Each of these homologues interacts with one or more of the others, with all of the proteins involved in one complex or multiple smaller complexes. RAD51D interacts with XRCC2 and RAD51C. RAD51D's expression pattern and sequence similarity to other RAD51 family members most likely make it part of a complex of proteins required for DNA repair and meiotic recombination.
