RSK1 Antibody (MA5-34863) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of RSK1 p90 in HeLa cells (green). Samples were formalin fixed, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS (1 hour, room temperature) and blocked with 1% BSA (15 min, room temperature), incubated with RSK1 p90 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-34863) at a dilution of 1:50 (1 hour, room temperature), and followed by Alexa Fluor 488 Goat anti-Rabbit IgG and DAPI (blue) with a dilution of 1:100.

Target Information
RPS6KA1 (RSK1) is a growth-factor regulated serine/threonine kinase that is involved in the MAPK cascade. It is thought to control cellular proliferation and differentiation through the phosphorylation of transcription factors. RPS6KA1 contains 2 nonidentical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates various substrates, including members of the mitogen-activated kinase (MAPK) signalling pathway. The activity of this protein has been implicated in controlling cell growth and differentiation. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
