Immunocytochemistry analysis of SEC14L3 in Hela cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum. Samples were then incubated in SEC14L3 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-144040) using a dilution of 5 μg/mL. Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: human Hek293 whole cell, human U-87MG whole cell, human PC-3 whole cell, rat lung tissue, rat liver tissue, mouse lung tissue, mouse liver tissue. IHC: rat testis tissue, human breast cancer tissue, human gastric cancer tissue, human rectal cancer tissue, human gallbladder adenocarcinoma tissue. ICC/IF: HELA cell. Flow: U937 cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is highly similar to the protein encoded by the Saccharomyces cerevisiae SEC14 gene. The SEC14 protein is a phophatidylinositol transfer protein that is essential for biogenesis of Golgi-derived transport vesicles, and thus is required for the export of yeast secretory proteins from the Golgi complex. The specific function of this protein has not yet been determined. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.
