SERPINA4 Antibody (PA5-47180) in WB
Western blot analysis of SERPINA4 in human liver tissue, human kidney tissue, and human pancreas tissue. Samples were incubated in SERPINA4 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47180) using a dilution of 0.25 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG secondary antibody. Specific bands were detected for Serpin A4/Kallistatin at approximately 50-60 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

In direct ELISAs, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Serpin A1, rhSerpin A3, rhSerpin A5, rhSerpin C1, recombinant mouse Serpin D1, and rhSerpin F2 is observed.

Target Information
SERPINA4 inhibits human amidolytic and kininogenase activities of tissue kallikrein. The inhibition is achieved by formation of an equimolar, heat- and SDS-stable complex between the inhibitor and the enzyme, and generation of a small C-terminal fragment of the inhibitor due to cleavage at the reactive site by tissue kallikrein.
