Immunohistochemistry analysis of SNRPE in paraffin-embedded rat ovary. Samples were incubated with SNRPE polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-76746) using a dilution of 1:50. Perform high pressure antigen retrieval with 10 mM citrate buffer pH 6.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The protein encoded by SNRPE is a core component of U small nuclear ribonucleoproteins, which are key components of the pre-mRNA processing spliceosome. The encoded protein plays a role in the 3' end processing of histone transcripts. This protein is one of the targets in the autoimmune disease systemic lupus erythematosus, and mutations in SNRPE have been associated with hypotrichosis. Several pseudogenes of SNRPE have been identified.
