SPON1 Antibody (PA5-47457) in WB
Western blot analysis of SPON1 in 0.2 mg/mL lysates of OVCAR‚3 human ovarian carcinoma cell line. Samples were incubated in SPON1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-47457) using a dilution of 10 µg/mL followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG at a dilution of 0.0763888888888889. A specific band was detected for F‚Spondin/SPON1 at approximately 134 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the 12-230 kDa separation system.

SPON1 is a cell adhesion protein that promotes the attachment of spinal cord and sensory neuron cells and the out growth of neurites in vitro. SPON1 may contribute to the growth and guidance of axons in both the spinal cord and the PNS. Is known to be a major factor for vascular smooth muscle cells.
