Seryl-tRNA synthetase Antibody (PA5-77006) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of Seryl-tRNA synthetase in paraffin-embedded mouse spinal cord. Samples were incubated with Seryl-tRNA synthetase polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-77006) using a dilution of 1:100. Perform high pressure antigen retrieval with 10 mM citrate buffer pH 6.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
Seryl-tRNA synthetase (SerRS) catalyzes the attachment of serine to tRNA(Ser) in a two-step reaction: serine is first activated by ATP to form Ser-AMP and then transferred to the acceptor end of tRNA(Ser). Is also probably able to aminoacylate tRNA(Sec) with serine, to form the misacylated tRNA L-seryl-tRNA(Sec), which will be further converted into selenocysteinyl-tRNA(Sec).
