TROP2 Antibody (MA5-44977) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of TROP2 in MDA-MB-468 cells (green). Formalin fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 10 minutes at room temperature and blocked with 10% negative goat serum for 15 minutes at room temperature. Samples were incubated in TROP2 Monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-44977) using a dilution of 1:50 for 1 hour at room temperature, washed with PBS followed by Alexa Fluor®488 conjugate-Goat anti-Mouse IgG secondary antibody at a dilution of 1:1,000. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

Target Information
TROP2 is a carcinoma-associated antigen defined by the monoclonal antibody GA733. This antigen is a member of a family including at least two type I membrane proteins. It transduces an intracellular calcium signal and acts as a cell surface receptor. Mutations of its gene result in gelatinous drop-like corneal dystrophy, an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by severe corneal amyloidosis leading to blindness.
