TRPM7 Antibody (PA5-95588) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of TRPM7 using anti-TRPM7 antibody (Product # PA5-95588). TRPM7 was detected in a section of MCF7 cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum and then incubated with 2μg/mL rabbit anti-TRPM7 antibody (Product # PA5-95588) overnight at 4°C. Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: human Hela whole cell, human COLO-320 whole cell, human 22RV1 whole cell, human SGC-7901 whole cell. ICC/IF: MCF7 cell. Flow: THP-1 cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Target Information
TRPCs, mammalian homologs of the Drosophila transient receptor potential (trp) protein, are ion channels that are thought to mediate capacitative calcium entry into the cell. TRP-PLIK is a protein that is both an ion channel and a kinase. As a channel, it conducts calcium and monovalent cations to depolarize cells and increase intracellular calcium. As a kinase, it is capable of phosphorylating itself and other substrates. The kinase activity is necessary for channel function, as shown by its dependence on intracellular ATP and by the kinase mutants.
