ZIC3 Antibody (PA5-81131) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence staining of ZIC3 in HeLa cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.3% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with ZIC3 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-81131, 1:5,000) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor®594-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (red). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm and nucleus.

This antibody has specificity for Human ZIC3.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the ZIC family of C2H2-type zinc finger proteins. This nuclear protein probably functions as a transcription factor in early stages of left-right body axis formation. Mutations in this gene cause X-linked visceral heterotaxy, which includes congenital heart disease and left-right axis defects in organs.
