In this webinar we covered:
What are the plates used for?
- Quantitative and qualitative measurements of minute amounts of substances, e.g., hormones, viral and bacterial proteins, antibodies, binding peptides, biomolecular disease markers.
- Main application is enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA)
Thermo Scientific™ immunoassay plates have three different types of surfaces to meet the application:
- Passive binding surfaces for biomacromolecules
- Covalent surfaces for smaller biomolecules
- Affinity capture surfaces for affinity-tagged biomolecules
Speaker biography: Thomas Andersen, MSc, joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2002 as a product manager for the immunology business, and for the last 3 years he has worked as Senior Technical Adviser managing the technical support for the business unit.
