About
Precision medicine is akin to "taking the first steps on a thousand-mile journey", it being possible not without collaboration of experts on a worldwide basis. In the light of the above, China-US Precision Medicine Summit – with a theme of "Transforming lives through pioneering Precision Medicine" – was successfully unveiled on March 29, 2018 in Beijing. The Summit features participants from government authorities, enterprises, academic circles and clinical practices, making it an unparalleled platform for exchanges among players throughout the industry chain as well as among those in China and U.S. Its aim is to foster dialog between Chinese and American governments, explore the international management framework for precision medicine, provide guidance for collaboration between the government, enterprises and academia, focus on latest technologies and promotion of precision medicine using digital technology, and forecast precision treatment and management of diseases.
