Our dry-blend buffer packs are easy to use. Simply empty contents of one foil envelope pack into a beaker, add ultrapure water, and stir to dissolve. No need to make and store large volumes of stock solution in advance of daily needs.
Benefits of ready-to-use buffered packs include:
Convenient—no weighing, no pH adjustment, no need to stock individual components
Consistent quality—our quality control ensures that every pack yields the same, consistent buffer
Long shelf life—stocking and storage as dry packs eliminates concerns about long-term stability of stock solutions

BupH™ Phosphate-Buffered Saline Packs are pouches of dry-blend powder that make sodium phosphate buffered saline (PBS) for use in crosslinking and labeling reactions requiring amine-free conditions. Each BupH Dry-Blend pack makes ready-to-use PBS with 0.1 M sodium phosphate, 0.15 M NaCl buffer at pH 7.2 when dissolved in 500 mL of water.

BupH MES-Buffered Saline Packs are pouches of dry-blended powder that make optimized amine-free and carboxyl-free buffer. When dissolved in 500 mL of water, the buffer contains 0.1 M 2-(N-morpholino) ethanesulfonic acid (MES), 0.9% sodium chloride at pH 4.7 for carbodiimide (EDC) crosslinking and conjugation reactions.

BupH Carbonate-Bicarbonate Buffer Packs are pouches of dry-blended powder that are each sufficient to make 500 mL of alkaline (pH 9.4) sodium-carbonate (carb-bicarb) buffer. This buffer is used for coating or binding capture-antibodies and other proteins onto polystyrene microplates for ELISA and other plate assays. When dissolved in 500 mL of water, each pack makes 0.2 M carbonate-bicarbonate at pH 9.4.

BupH Tris-Buffered Saline Packs are pouches of dry-blend powder that make Tris-NaCl buffered saline (TBS) for diluents and wash buffers in ELISA, western blotting, and general immunoassay procedures. Each pack makes ready-to-use TBS with 25 mM Tris, 0.15 M NaCl at pH 7.2 when dissolved in 500 mL of water.

BupH Borate Buffer Packs are pouches of dry-blended powder that are each sufficient to make borate buffer for use in protein modification procedures requiring amine-free conditions. When dissolved in 500 mL of water, each pack makes 50 mM borate at pH 8.5.

BupH Tris-Glycine Transfer Buffer Packs are pouches of dry-blend powder that make 500 mL of standard transfer buffer for wet or semi-dry electrophoretic protein transfer from gel to blotting membrane. Each pack makes 25 mM Tris, 192 mM glycine at pH 8 when dissolved in 400 mL of water and 100 mL methanol.

BupH Modified Dulbecco's PBS Packs are pouches of dry-blend powder that make physiological sodium- and potassium-phosphate buffered saline (D-PBS) for ELISA and western blot diluents and wash buffers. Each pack makes 8 mM sodium phosphate, 2 mM potassium phosphate, 0.14 M NaCl, 10 mM KCl modified Dulbecco's PBS buffer at pH 7.4 when dissolved in 500 mL of water.
