The software simplifies PCR run setup, interpretation of pathogen presence/absence results, and generation of reports including interoperability with LIMS.

The Thermo Scientific™ RapidFinder™ Analysis Software v3.0 is a graphical, easy-to-use tool for food and environmental testing labs to optimize their pathogen detection workflow. The software is required as part of the Applied Biosystems™ QuantStudio™ 5 Food Safety System to run the Thermo Scientific™ SureTect™, Rapid Finder™ and SureCount™ Assays. The RapidFinder™ Analysis Software v3.0:

• Leads you through the steps to start instrument run
• Uses pre-set, optimized thermal cycling conditions, and automatically generates the results (presence or absence of the target, CFU/sample in the case of SureCount PCR Assays).
• Allows you to view results on an easy-to-read screen with color-coded presence/absence calls
• Offers interrogation of results for the whole plate, grouped by sample, or for individual PCR tubes.

The main features of the RapidFinder Analysis Software include:

• Fully automated amplification, detection, data collection, and data analysis
• Quick interpretation of data with flags, notifications, and prompts
• Detailed report generation for printing or export
• Interoperability with LIMS or similar data management tool for importing plate set-up and exporting assay results
• Ability to build database with PCR runs used to search for results and files with user selectable filters

RapidFinder Analysis Software and the QuantStudio 5 Food Safety PCR System with a 96-well, 0.1-mL block configuration are integral parts of the SureTect™, SureCount and RapidFinder™ PCR Assays validated food pathogen testing workflows.
