This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-66758. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
This protein may facilitate endocytosis by linking megalin to components of the cytoskeleton or endocytic machinery. ANKRA2 is a megalin- and BKCa potassium channel-interacting factor. It is a protein known to interact with HDAC4 and HDAC5.ANKRA2 is important for transcriptional repression by AhRR.
