This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-52466. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
AUP1 contains a domain with homology to the ancient conserved region of the archain 1 gene and a domain they may be involved in binding ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes. The unprocessed precursor is of 476 amino acids in length and has an estimated molecular weight of 53 kDa.
